1. Triple-tapping using three fingers on the device to turn off screen curtain (black screen); after that you will see the desktop.

2. Triple-click the Home button to disable VoiceOver.

Take one finger and swipe the screen from left to right.
Enter your passcode if prompted.

apple logo comes up, then screen goes black and voice tells me screen is locked. swipping screen left to right does nothing.

Press the Home Button 3 times... Then try to unlock.

after powering up it tells me screen curtain is up. screen is black, but is touch active
