My ipad is frozen and I can't reboot it.
Holding down the sleep key doesn't work.
When I wake it, it has the time and the information across the top, but it doesn't show the unlock screen, so I can't enter my passcode. Also, it shows that there's 62% of the battery left.
Any ideas?

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased.
