Q: My granddaughter can't remember her password or security question and has several gift cards to use?

If she can't remember her account's password then this page may let her reset it : http://iforgot.apple.com

For the questions, if she has a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on her account then the steps half-way down this page should let her reset them : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312

If she doesn't have a rescue email address (she won't be able to add one until he can answer 2 of your questions) then she will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

When they've been reset (and if she doesn't already have a rescue email address) he can then use the steps half-way down the HT5312 link above to add a rescue email address for potential future use
