iPod touch 4th generation
I recently bought a book off the iTunes that is downloaded on my laptop. I tried to download iBooks onto my iPod 4th gen but I don't have IOS 7. How can I read that book on my iPod?

You don't. iOS 7 can not be loaded on to an iPod 4, not enough RAM.
