Q: iCloud Settings

A friend gave me a 3G iPhone recently and I'm having trouble attaching my own photo to MY name since iCloud apparently thinks that she's still the owner of the phone. HER photo is attached to MY user name (as well as her name in my contact list) and I can't figure out how to stop it from doing that. There's even a small add photo icon next to HER name in my contacct list, but no one else's. Why would it be doing that even when setting up my (new) account online? Do I need to do a reset to get things entered in my account properly?

Just go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > scroll down to "My Info" and then choose your contacts card.

I'm not seeing the "My Info" bit. I've been doing it while in "Contacts" but still having the same result, regardless what computer I use. iCloud thinks I'm her, apparently. Looking at my iCloud homepage right now in a other window and seeing her photo alongside MY name. I guess it's ultimately not that big a deal so long as any messages I send out don't have her photo attached to them as the sender.

But, it's VERY annoying and I really can't figure out how to correct it.

Ah ok you are sitting on your Mac/PC right now. Then please go to www.icloud.com, sign in, then open Contacts, go to your card, then click on the little Settings icon the lower left corner and press "Make this My Card". Next click edit and then click on the photo, then click "choose photo" and select a photo from your computer. After that just save your changes by pressing "Done".

My "Card"? I have no idea what that is. When I opened up my contacts it goes straight to the first name listed. So, your instructions worked...but, now I'm that guy instead of her from before. I'll try it again...

You would have to choose your "contacts card" ->  Just click on your name in the contacts list and then follow my instructions...

...click on the little Settings icon the lower left corner and press "Make this My Card". Next click edit and then click on the photo, then click "choose photo" and select a photo from your computer. After that just save your changes by pressing "Done".
