Most of Apple menu options are hidden

My Apple menu (new computer, iMac OS X 10.8.5) is showing only four options: About This Mac, Force Quit, Log Out and Sleep.

I recently made a couple of tweaks using Onyx but nothing that should have changed the contents of the Apple menu. I since restored the defaults and no change.

Any ideas? I can't find any solutions. I've done obvious things like restart, reset defaults...

Sounds like you corrupted some file somewhere. Generally Onyx is better than other utilities at not corrupting anything, but it is not to say it couldn't happen. This is why I recommend using NO utilities other than a backup.

Are you sure you didn't download Mackeeper or something else that might be a utility? Cause that could cause problems like this.
