Q: Icloud pops up on phone and has a previous emial and I cannot get it changed

If it is your old email address then please follow this steps in order to get it working properly again.

1. Please change your Apple ID back to your old email address (that you used as Apple ID before) here:http://appleid.apple.com
2. Then go to all your devices - iPhones, iPads, Mac etc. - ("Settings > iCloud") and delete your iCloud account from this devices (+ turn off Find My iPhone, but I guess it will ask you that anyway)
3. After that go back to http://appleid.apple.com sign in again, and now change your Apple ID again to your new email address.
4. Finally, set up your iCloud account on all your devices again.
5. Now, everything should working properly again.

I have the exact same problem--but when i go to turn off Find My Iphone, it asks for the password to my old Apple ID (the password doesnt work), and it wont let me delete my iCloud account without the password, which it says is incorrect. Help!!

If you recreated your old ID from your current ID as posted above, you can use the password for your current ID to delete the account (even though it asks for the password for your old ID).

That's the thing too, it wont let me change it back to my old email because it "isn't available"

Then you'll probably have to contact Apple for assistance resetting the password for your old ID.  You can do this by going to https://expresslane.apple.com, then click More Products and Services>Apple ID>Other Apple ID Topics>Lost or forgotten Apple ID password; by contacting the Apple account security team (Apple ID: Contacting Apple for help with Apple ID account security); or by contacting iTunes store support by email (https://ssl.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html).

It woks on any iOS device.  Here's Apple's support document on this: If you're asked for the password to your previous Apple ID when signing out of iCloud.   What is mentioned above is the last section on changing your Apple ID temporarily.
