How can I check if my laptop supports Airplay
Mac Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.5)
Open iTunes and turn on your Apple TV.
Turn on "Home Sharing" on both devices.
You'll see the Airplay icon in the iTunes window.
Airplay "mirroring" is not supported by your OS but Airplay via iTunes is.
