I am trying to do the same thing on my Dads iMac he dose not have Windows on his mac it is the very first time windows his been on the mac I have try everything. People are using these bootcamp downloads from apple have downloaded the file what do I do with the file after download.

You keep it on the usb stick for after you boot into Windows. From Windows you install the Windows Support software on the stick. Do you realize that you need to buy and install Windows? The Windows Support software you downloaded is only the Windows drivers for your hardware.

I have try this method boot camp keeps trying to ask for windows cd to continue the install what do I do now

Where is your Windows CD? Remove the usb stick.
