I'd like to add the filename of the Page document that I have created without having to do it manually.
In Word, I can insert automatically a Filename at the bottom of the page.
How can this be done automatically with Pages version 5.0.1?

None of the Pages versions have that particular feature.
Why not just copy the document name when you create it and paste it in the footer?
No implementation of Pages is a Word clone, and does not use field variables for additional insert menu items. LibreOffice Writer offers field codes because it is designed as a Word replacement.
In Pages '09, inserted document dates will auto-update each time that the document is opened. In any release of Pages v5, dates do not auto-update. You would have to click the date in the document, and then select Set to Today. An alternative would be to disable the footer, and replace it with a one-row table using the now() function in a table cell. This function automatically updates the date each time the document is opened. You may find it difficult to eliminate the gap that results from right-aligning a filename in one cell, and left-align now() in an adjacent cell, then merge both cells.

I'd like this feature too, and I had a feeling that it was possible in an older version of Pages as one of my old templates, relied upon it.
Why I find it useful is for file versioning.
I like to put the revision date in the file name e.g. "ClientDoc_16Dec2015". Whenever I iterate and save a new version I'd have to remember to manually update the footer.
If it can be inserted as a field (like page number etc), that auto-updates, then that automates the process.

You just have to paste it once in the document. It can't be much easier than that, can it?
You are right, it is easy however my old habits of using Word comes first to me and I search this automatic option in the Insert menu.

I absolutely agree with Steff. It just seems as if the simplest of word-processing functions are not included ... I seem to constantly hear "put in a request to Apple for that function" when it's something that is considered de rigueur in even the simplest of programs. Sigh.
Pages '09 v4.3 still works on macOS Sierra, and does have Insert menu : Filename.
As for the functionality omissions in Pages v5/v6, there are several competitive word processing solutions available whose very survival depend on their feature set, revenue stream, and responsiveness to customer requirements feedback.
Hence the reason why my Mac running Mac OS Sierra V 10.12.4 with Pages V 6.1 does not have this feature. Just seems ludicrous that users have to request these (seemingly simple) functions. That's all.
Agreed. Alternatively...
In your open Pages document, click the location in the header/footer where you want the filename deposited. Reach up to the document title, and click on it. A panel opens with the filename preselected. Click/Drag & drop the filename into your desired insertion location, or simply copy/paste. Tap the esc key to hide the panel.
Reaching to the Insert menu to select Filename (if it were there) would be no more labor intensive.
