Can you cancel the request sent out using friend finder

Installed friend finder app. Add friend. Request went automatically. Can you cancel the request? If you delete app will the request drop?

iPhone 5c, iOS 7.0.4, Friend finder app

Welcome to the Apple community Tip992.

You can't cancel a request, just remove them from your friends.
