iTunes Northern Ireland

Hi I live in Ireland (North) about 100 yards from the border...and I am trying to buy something from the Irish iTunes but it will not except any of my cards. I have already the town closest to me on the other side of the border but none of the shops do itunes vouchers...

The album I am trying to buy is not on the uk itunes

Can anyone tell me how to get it to work...I mean I live in Ireland so it's not like I am trying to buy from another country...

iPhone 5, iOS 6.1.4

You/they may be culturally and ethnicallly Irish, but Northern Ireland is part of the UK (foreign nationals excepted of course), not part of the Republic of Ireland, so you are not allowed to use the Irish iTunes Store when you are in Northern Ireland. From the terms of use:

The Service is available to you only in Ireland. You agree not to use or attempt to use the Service from outside this location. iTunes may use technologies to verify your compliance.

If you are using the Irish iTunes store from Northern Ireland, you are in violation of your agreement with the iTunes Store, and Apple can cut you off at any time, though it's probably not likely.

Regards.
