where did my iPhoto go?

Help, my iPhoto disappeared from my dock. How do I find the applications folder to find out if it is still there?

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5), iPhoto disappeared overnight

To go to Applications folder, first open a Finder window by pressing the Finder icon in the Dock (the one at the left). Then, you will see Applications in the Finder sidebar, so select it

Try launching iPhoto from the Spotlight tool.

Upper Right corner of your display.

Magnifying glass icon.

Enter iPhoto in the Search Box.

then Click on the iPhoto Application

Once it is running

Right-click on the icon in the Dock

(control button Mouse Click)

Hover over Options

Click Keep in Dock

You can click-drag icons in the Dock

to arrange them relative to one another..
