try plugging it in. if that does not work, go to your nearest apple store, and ask them. they will try to fix your problem

Also if you get a startup chime but no boot. Try booting to safe mode holding down the shift key at startup. if it boots this way. There is a chance that adware or something like CleanMyMac is installed. My daughter got infected this way and here computer was useless. Could not go to desktop.
