Will restoring my iPhone fix my LCD screen glitch?

I was using my iPhone 4 with about 8% battery. The screen dimmed and wouldn't light up with I pressed the home button. Then a bunch of lines showed up across my screen, and the screen faded to black with a white circle in the middle. I waited for the phone to die, and plugged it in. It is now on, but the LCD screen is all jumpy and shaky. It is responding though, so I can use the phone. Do I have to get the LCD screen fixed, or will restoring it to factory settings fix it? I can't hard restart it because my lock button is broken. Thanks for the help!
