Welcome to the Apple Community Eliana15

You can see what your iCloud storage is used for and delete any unwanted content at settings > iCloud > Backup & Storage > Manage...... on your iOS device. Or System Preferences > iCloud > Manage...... on a Mac.

    You have 3 options......

        1.    Purchase more iCloud storage.

        2.    Delete data or back ups that are being stored in iCloud already.

        3.    Turn off items to be included in the next back up to reduce its size.

I have done all that. I only have apps like facebook, camera, pandora, and hardly anything else. my phone keeps telling me I have no space. The msg is really annoying. I dont want to add storage. I noticed that on my phone when i sync it it has a lot of documents and data on it. I have no idea what the documents i have on my phone came from. Are they important or can i delete them too.

Please confirm what the message is saying, is it iCloud or the phone that is full.

Then you will need to look where I suggested and delete anything that's not needed.

How do i do that? I can not access anything to delete. Especially documents because I don't have any on my phone? I have two notes saved and that is it. No email. what else can I delete that is not necessary? The next back up says I need 5.6GB I have shut off everything and this number has not decreased.
