I upgraded to OS X 10.9.1

I upgraded to OS X 10.9.1 and now my windows open very small and I cant resize them or adjust the font to a more legible size. how can I adjust this?

iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9.1)

The Finder lets you scale the size of the fonts from the View options: Press ⌘J when viewing a Finder Window:

Many applications have settings for the font sizes in the preferences.


An easy way to enlarge everything is to decrease the resolution of your display:

System Preferences > Display

Make the resolution a bit lower and all windows and Fonts will appear larger:
