MacBook Pro retina nov 2012 won't connect to freebox revolution wifi !

Hello,

I have a MacBook Pro retina that I bought in November 2012 . It works great except one thing, I can't connect to my cousin freebox revolution wifi.

This is the first time I have issues with wifi, it works perfectly fine usually but for my cousin wifi, I don't know why but it won't even see the wifi!

I can connect to it with my phone or other MacBook but my MacBook retina won't even show the wifi in the list.

Am I missing something ?

Is the SSID being broadcast? Have you tried to connect manually by typing in the SSID and the password?

Yes it is because i can see it using my iphone or my brother's macbook. I tried to enter all the information manually but it won't work.

What encryption scheme is your brothers router using? If it is WEP, and not WPA2 or even WPA, then some if not all newer Mac's have a problem with WEP. Not sure why the SSID isn't even showing up.

I think it's WPA, yes i have no clue about the SSID. It did the same one year ago with the very same wifi , i thought my macbook had an issue, but since then i connected to tons of wifi and it always worked perfectly fine.
