Dec 29, 2013 6:31 AM in response to Samiwoowooby TJBUSMC1973,No. You will need to create a new backup from the older iPhone that has less than 16 GB (actually, I recommend trimming it down to less than 10 GB to be safe), and then restore the backup to the new device with the lower capacity.
