Q: stuck in recovery

>my ipod touch 1st gen is stuck in recovery. when i connect to itunes is, it says" software updater cannot be contacted" i have connectivity to internet through normal chrome ways. please help

Try:
- Powering off and then back on your router.
- iTunes for Windows: iTunes cannot contact the iPhone, iPad, or iPod software update server
- Change the DNS to either Google's or Open DNS servers
Public DNS — Google Developers
OpenDNS IP Addresses
- For one user uninstalling/reinstalling iTunes resolved the problem
- Try on another computer/network
- Wait if it is an Apple problem

tried all above thanx, but no solution found. still in recovery and neither pc not picking up ipod. this ipod has been fine for over 3 months since purchase, but updated and added new apple iphone to itune and then all this happened.
