iTunes Match issues

Using windows 7, Step 3 of the iTunes Match process stalls. It says 120 of 2759 items uploaded. This is after 10 hours. And each item takes forever to upload. Any suggestions?

Using iTunes version 10.7.0.21

And I haven't updated to the latest version because II'm a DJ and trying to figure out where everything is after each update drives me nuts!
