Q: how do you remotely disconnect from an itunes account?

I have sold my iphone but the buyer has informed me that the phone is still connected to my itunes account, how do I resolve this?

iPhone 4S, iOS 7

    For the new owner to be able to activate the phone to be used with his apple id login he will need to disable "Find my iPhone" in the settings under 'iCloud'. Please provide new owner with the original apple id login and password to enable the new owner to disable find my iphone such that he can then sign in with his apple id login.
