I'm using OS X 10.6.8 my airport utility isnt working

I just got a new airport/time capsule, when started set up it said my current airport utility was out of date

i checked for softwear updates and didnt find that i needed one

i search the apple site and found an updated airport utility and downloaded it, however it said that it only works with OS X 10.7 or higher

Airport Time Capsule-OTHER, iOS 6.1.5

Please review the System Requirements for the new Time Capsule in Apple's specifications:

Setup and Administration

iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 6 or later and AirPort Utility 1.3
Mac with OS X Lion v10.7.5 or later and AirPort Utility 6.3

You will need to either update your Mac to at least Lion 10.7.5 or use AirPort Utility on an iPhone or iPad to be able to configure the new Time Capsule.
