Q: i have requested a network unlock code for my iphone 4 and was told to connect the phone into itunes after 48hours to get that to work on a different carrier but still not working

hi there

 

i had requested a network unlock from vodafone and was told to connect iphone into itunes after 48 hours for automatic update and unlock so a differrent cetwork/carrier can be used on the phone. i have followed the instruction but still not working. any help/advice please

    Thanks for the question. I understand you are in the process of unlocking your iPhone 4 for use with different carriers. If your unlock process has completed with your carrier, follow these steps:

    3. Once you receive confirmation from your carrier that your iPhone unlock has been processed, proceed to the next section.

     

    If you have a SIM card from a carrier that is different from your current carrier, and you've received confirmation from your current carrier that your iPhone is unlocked, follow these steps:

     

    1. Eject your SIM card and insert the new SIM card.

    2. Complete the setup process.

     

    If you do not currently have another SIM card you can use, follow these steps to complete the process:

     

    1. Back up your iPhone.

    2. Erase your iPhone.

    3. Complete the setup assistant and restore your backup.
