How to turn off iTunes Radio on iPad Air
Once I turn on iTunes Radio, I can't find where to shut it off. If I ignor it, it keeps running in the background.

Thanks for the question. iTunes Radio is controlled from the Music application, as seen in this screenshot:

Just with the Music function, there is no OFF. You just press pause and that is it. It doesn't use data or WiFi any more and it will not run down the battery this way.
You can always press the home button twice and in the screen that pops up, find the music app and swipe it up which wiill "close" the app.
Hi Matt. I have the same question re my Ipad 2. From your answer and pics I still don't see how to turn the radio off. I'd like to turn it off not just pause it.
To echo what hexonxonx said, it's important to double click and swipe to close iTunes radio. Most apps close automatically when you hit the home button. The music apps stay open till swiped.
