My iPhone 5s is timing out on all apps I can't get anything to open up what's wrong?

My iPhone suddenly decided to stop working I mean I can't access any of my apps all it does is time out over and over again everything I have tried is not working, I can't even access iTunes I get "connection error" I type in a search in the fiireld and. Itching happens, I tried to delete iMessages and i get an error I can access FB or anything what is wrong with this phone?
