Q: Macbook A1181 Magsafe Charger & Battery

I have recently bought a macbook from a relative, She said the battery was dead so she bought a new one

So last night I checked to see why my battery wasn't lasting as long as it should and my MagSafe charger is an 85W And my battery says its should be 60W is this a bad thing is the charger slowly cooking the battery...

I think the battery is 3rd party

I'm 14 please help this is Mac for school

If it is incompatable what do i replace the battery or the MagSafe Charger

And how much would it cost

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.7.5)

No, you can use an 85 watt adapter with a 60 watt MacBook. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2346

Go to the Apple in the upper left corner and select About This Mac, then click on More Info (and then System Report if you are running 10.7 Lion), then select Power from the left hand column of the System Profiler. Copy and paste the Battery Information from the top of the page back here.
