Dec 29, 2013 5:12 PM in response to Socstepby rbrylawski,Buy a Camera Connection Kit at Best Buy or your Apple Store. Buy one for either SD or Compact flash, depending on your camera's storage medium. Connect to your iPad, put the card in and voila, they'll transfer.
OR:
Download the photos and videos to your computer and connect your iPad to the computer you sync with and transfer them via iTunes sync.

If your camera has an SD card
or the lightening to USB for your videos

(might also work for your camera)
The photo part is rather self-explanatory. as long as your photos are in the right format and with the right naming convention they should import right over. The video may be a bit more tricky. So you may want to do some more research and make sure your camera records a format the iPad will import and whether or not you need an app such as iMovie
