Q: Pairing IPhone 4S with Garmin Approach S4

I got the new Garmin Approach S4 golf gps watch which has bluetooth which is supposed to pair to any mobile device so that you can recieve text messages on the watch.  The watch will not pair with my Verizon IPhone, but it will pair with my friends IPhone and to my IPad mini. Anyone know what's wrong?

    The Garmin S4 isn't compatible with iPhone and Garmin finally admitted it to me.

     

    They claim the iPhone has a "glitch" ... like Apple is supposed to cater to Garmin?

     

    I've had my S4 for 3 months and I've given up on the "Notifictions", it just won't work after the 1st time you walk more than 10 yards from your iPhone, to hit a shot.

     

    It's junk
