AirPlay Mirroring requires a second-generation Apple TV or later, OS X 10.8 or better and is supported on the following Mac models: iMac (Mid 2011 or newer), Mac mini (Mid 2011 or newer), MacBook Air (Mid 2011 or newer), and MacBook Pro (Early 2011 or newer). You can see which Mac you have and which operating system you are using by selecting 'About this Mac' from the Apple menu in the top left corner of your Mac and selecting the 'More Info' button.

Dec 30, 2013 3:06 PM in response to Winston Churchillby circulair@,Yes, checked all this,OS X 10.9.1, bought brand new latest "Apple TV" specially for the "Mavericks" advertised Multi Display facility and seem to have an independent screen/display on the TV but although keyboard cursor can be activated on TV display mouse/touch pad cursor is only active on Laptop?

I planned this to watch tutorials on the big screen while experimenting with FCP X, Logic Pro X etc. but even when opening a tutorial video in the TV screen/display from finder or Launchpad the video opens in the Laptop display! anyone got any tips..
