Did you buy the iPad from Verizon? Or, it it was used, was it originally sold for use on Verizon's network? If not, then it won't work on Verizon.

iPad was purchased through the apple store at apple.com as certified referbished. The carrior is specified as Verizon. Apple verified the MEID #. Verizon is just not being helpful and their customer service is crap compaired to Apple.

In this case, it sounds as if Apple made the mistake. Verizon can't activate devices unless the IMEI is already loaded in their database.
