Delete from iPhone Twitter, Facebook, Vimeo and Flickr

In Settings, the iPhone comes with the option to download Twitter, Facebook, Vimeo and Flickr. I do not want to download any of these programs and my assumption, the options are taking up space on my phone. How do I delete these?

They are part of the Apple operating sytem, they are not 'apps' they help to integrate those services into iOS at a deeper level. If you googled this you could have found this out yourself, with respect. They take up no more room as they are part of iOS and are nothing to concern yourself with, if you dont download those apps dont worry about those settings, its that simple.

Do you work for Apple Support ?

Why are these apps "special" ?

If you'd read the Terms of Use you agreed to when you signed up, you'd know that this is a user-to-user support forum.

To expand on killhippie's post, the twitter, FaceBook, Vimeo and Flickr apps do not come preinstalled on your phone. You do have the option to sign into those accounts from your phone. But it's only an option. You do have the option to download those apps from the App Store. Or not. It's all up to you.

Best of luck.

Most everyone posting here is simply a user like yourself, jus ttrying to help.

As killhippie noted, Apple has decided to integrate them a bit more into the OS.

The apps are not on your iPhone unless you download and install them.
