Q: can i copy an ibook to another device with different apple id?

can i copy an ibook to another device with different apple id? - my wife and i would like to read the same ibook on our iPhones. i thought you were allowed to have ibooks and apps on up to 5 divides but i don't know how to copy it over

iPhone 4S, iOS 7.0.4

Yes, but you'll either need to copy the iBook to her iTunes library and authorize that computer, if it's different from yours, to your Apple ID, or download the iBook directly to her iPhone, again using your ID.

thanks for the input - i just dont know how to sign on with my apple id on her phone - - it defaults to her apple id

Settings > iTunes & App Stores

Tap her Apple ID, sign out, and then sign back in with your Apple ID.

You can also do this by opening the iBooks app, going to the Store and scrolling down to the bottom of the page and tapping her ID there.
