Q: What causes a blank list when I select application on my finder screen?
I have been able to use this function satisfacturally in the most recent past. Suddenly, so it seems, I'm unable to complete a simple scanning process using my wireless HP 7500 e910 to complete this proces. All I need it to do is scan a document and post it on the desktop so I'm able to attach it to an email. The plateform presented to me now when I need to scan from this printer, is one I've not seen before this morning? It appears to scan the document in several sectons (?) and I don't recognize how this works because it doesn't send the document to the desktop?
iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)

Sorry, but your issue does not appear to be related to Apple networking. Instead it seems to be related to troubleshooting the scan function of your HP printer or the scanning software itself.
I would recommend that you review the scanning troubleshooting section of the user manual for this printer. You may also find posting your issue to the HP support forum may offer better chances of getting a solution.
