Accessing Gmail in Apple Mail without IMAP?
My company is using Google Apps for Business, and had to disable access via IMAP for security purposes. Is there any way to access that Gmail account on my desktop in Apple Mail without IMAP/POP access?
Google Mail is either IMAP or POP. You can add it as either in Mail. If you don't add it in Mail as one or the other, then you can't access gmail in Apple Mail.
However, you can access the gmail website in a web browser such as Safari. You just need to log into the website for gmail.
