To uninstall iCloud from a PC you have to re-run Apple's Icloud download (http://support.apple.com/kb/dl1455). The download's installer will give you the option to repair or remove iCloud. It cannot be removed through Windows control panel.
Whoo, hoo. Like everyone, I received several notices to update iCloud on Windows 10 which failed. Then attempted to uninstall and received a fatal error. I read everyone's contributions and appreciate how willing individuals are to help others. Unfortunately for me, nothing worked. Being a stubborn person, I researched for several hours & yippee- finally was able to uninstall iCloud using iOBit Uninstaller, then to reinstall with no errors. Hope this helps.
Your solution in answer its not true. the same error 2343 ocurred.
So sorry it didn't work for you. I wish I'd bookmarked the article where this solution appeared. If it helps, I'd followed many of the suggestions already, including searching for and uninstalling every Apple file I could locate and iTunes, then running CCleaner. All failed. I was shocked when IOBit Uninstaller removed iCloud and reinstallation worked- finally!
I was just able to uninstall it. I just downloaded the icloud installer and when I ran it I selected to remove it completely. After removing it make sure you restart your computer. I was able to re-install it but it still won't let me open anything. So dumb.
I've decided to do the same thing. The only thing I have left now that is active with Apple is my me.com email account. I just migrated my calendar over to an outlook.com (hotmail) account and it works seamlessly with MS Outlook for iPhone as well as with all of my PCs (personal and work). Soon, the me.com will be gone and I'm done with Apple apps. I suspect when my current cellular contract is over I'm going to probably ditch the iPhone and go with a Windows 10 or droid based smartphone.
Thanks for the help.
I have been using iOS since 1.0, where now 9. sumthing. The software that accompanies the Device you own by Apple is now at it's worst ever.
I unfortunately have to install QuickTime as many of my applications rely upon it. But apart from that, nothing Apple in Windows 10 Threshold.😎
Shame Apple have put me off buying my usual Christmas fair this year, I normally buy the latest iPad, iPhone and iPod every year without fail, I was even going to get a iWatch and their new Apple TV too, but I'm going to give that all a miss and get the latest Windows 10 Surface Pro and the latest LUMNA phones. Problems solved for the next year or two 🙂
Kind regards😐

Hopefully this is the solution.
I've been having this problem since long time, and just solved it now.
What I did:
1. Open task manager, and go to Startup tab
2. Disable anything related to iTunes or iCloud
3. Do the same in the services (Computer Management)
4. Download the latest versions of iTunes & iCloud (if you dont have it)
5. Install iTunes, then iCloud
All should go will.
I Hope this will finally solve this issue for all of you.
I had the same problem, error 234,3 fatal error, trying to uninstall or repair icloud for windows from my pc via the programs/features, spent two days bouncing back and forth from apple support to Microsoft support then found a post which suggested logging in to icloud and downloading icloud for windows again. It worked for me!!🙂
I moved to Windows phone, too, ****** at Apple, but keep in mind that Windows store is WEAK for apps that you have enjoyed with apple. Way more apps for droid, I think. So now I have to get another phone if I want more functionality....:-(
A New iCloud panel was released for Windows. It is the first to support MS 2016 Word, Outlook, etc. Download and try it, it is working fine for me.
Sadly, this did not solve it for me.
With a lot of effort I hacked out the registry, deleted anything even slightly related to ‘Apple’ or ‘iCloud’ all to no avail!
Much wailing and gnashing of teeth later I ‘bit the bullet’ and installed iOBIT, it looks horrendous, as you do need to use the deep file delete option (and avoid saying yes to letting it install any other S/Ware).
It managed to uninstall all the apple S/Wares that were ‘greyed out’ in Windoze add-remove programs, I included Bonjour and anything resembling iPhone products as well.
However, I did not need to install iTunes – I don’t use it - I just went straight for ‘icloudsetup.exe’ and Lo! The installer completed without the ‘can’t remove older 32-bit version’ error. It asked for a reboot.
I used Sysinternals ‘Autoruns’ to check that iOBIT had really uninstalled itself (it had, but I had to delete the directory and remove a registry entry to update itself)
Then re-register iCloud with Outlook, all worked fine I have my calendar back!!!
Now all I need is to work out how to get Outlook to use iClouds contacts as default?
Hello there,
First of all, the user need to use Windows Installer to perform the express un-install of iCloud for Windows. Needless to mention, you need the admin access to get that process completed. For example, the user needs to apply the Yes option to the following UAC alert, which allows the b8a914.msi to run, so you can proceed w/ the uninstall process. Plz pay a visit to https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2438651 if you need additional info on how to fix Windows Installer (related) errors.
2ndly, you can at least make the best of iCloud's own repair utility so you can fix possibly problematic install of iCloud automatically. To do so, please check out your apps/ programs list, locate iCloud, launch the Change option and then, choose the 1st option "Repair" on the following iCloud (Repair/ Uninstall wizard) via the admin rights. I kindly suggest that you restart your system later. For detailed instructions, you can read this how-to post.
it is easy to remove , first download the application icloud 1 again and then reinstall normally completed, restart your computer to complete the installation 1 again , it can remove and repair items we choose to serve How 's it removes no fuss ! GOOD LUCK!!!
