*** Error message

Working in HDV sequence. Rendered footage and I'm playing through in the timeline when it all of a sudden stops with the error message: File Error: Unknown file.

What's going on?

DP 2.7 PPC G5, 750gb, 4gb ram

Bubba,

I've experienced this when you do not have the correct rights to an element in the timeline. Check each element (both audio and video) right where the indicator stops, and do a 'Reveal in Finder' with a right click. Then do Get Info and see who has rights to that file. Change it to be you if necessary.
