I wanted to install iMovie, iPhoto, keynote, numbers, and pages on my Mac Pro running Mavericks 10.9.1. I noticed that they were listed under the top free apps on the mac app store but when I go to install them it says that they are $15 each. Why is this?

There are some users who get them free with another purchase.
If you had a paid previous version, or had bought and paid for a version of Mac OS X after this last summer, and maybe one other situation that eludes me at the moment, you get them free. Otherwise they are merely really cheap instead of free.
I purchased them all on a CD awhile back and I purchased Mountain Lion but I don't remember when. So, shouldn't they be free? I have them all installed but they are the old versions not the new versions from the App Store

Nothing shows under the purchases tab but I have five updates for iMovie, iPhoto, keynote, numbers, and pages.

I emailed them yesterday and they got back to me this morning. Hopefully they can give me a code or something to get my software updated.
It is very misleading to list them for free when they are not.
