How to remove Dropout jeep??

Jeremy, I'd love to give you props for this but I too am afraid Apple will reject this. I'm studying security now and that's how I came across Googling dropoutjeep and your post. If this gets through --think tongue in cheek. Also think we are all [illicit word what mommy & daddy did - past tense]. I bet if type Jacob Applebaum this will be pulled. Apple please get back to your roots - not the stock market.

We are all doomed, then.
In the almost three years since this thread was active, there has still not been any evidence of a remote hack. And, in the intervening years, the FBI had to spend $1 million do to get into an older version of iOS on a phone to which they had physical access. If the phone had been properly updated, even that wouldn't have been possible.
Study harder.
Seems to me apple is complicit in this. Every post related to dropout jeep is erased very fast from the forums one would think apple would be upset and want us to kmow how to get rid of it or detect it but apparently not.
Man, can you imagine. Apple did not join Prisim till after Steve died. If even a great company like Apple is complicit what possible recourse does anyone have?
What's wrong with speaking your mind freely?
What's wrong with freely associating with who you choose? Both 1st Amendment activities.
What's wrong with being secure in your person, place and papers (real paper or electronic, including correspondence with 3rd parties.) 4th Amendment.
I have nothing to hide but the Constitution says I can be secure to be left alone and pursue my own thing as long as I'm within the confines of Law. This amount of surveillance is not unlike the old Soviet Union, which by-the-way Putin is starting to reinstate as well as North Korea or China.
Anyway this isn't the place to speak about this, I doubt the good folks at Apple will let this post even appear or remain very long.
The state of affairs in OUR (directed to the person deciding to let this post remain or not) country is very sad.

Perhaps I am the only one who saw them but a few posts about this were posted during the last 24hr. You can or could find them doing a google search but when you click the link apple says your not authorized to view it. Again one would think if they did not have a hand in this they would be screaming out about it to try to protect the brand image. However the restriction of these posts related to dropout jeep just plain stinks. I have a pretty good feeling apple gave access to the NSA and although im not some terrorist I feel I have a right to privacy on my phone ya sure we all know the NSA or whatever 3 letter agency can track/tap us but it is different when Apple is helping them.
Another thought on a possible lawsuit here anyone remember bogus data charges for the iphone now that we know about dropout jeep could this have been the mystery data so many were getting billed for? If I pay for a data alotment from att or whomever then the NSA uses MY DATA PLAN to send back the data they want is that not outright theft??? Kinda funny they steal the data and we still have to pay for that data!!!!!
Ye Gods! Not another one.
Seems your tinfoil hat is on a little too tight.
As a matter of fact right2liberty's other post has already been scrubbed heres a copy

And you do. You can use Google to search for information on the topic. You can start your own blog and express your opinion. However, this is a private forum. We all agreed to Apple's Terms of Use when we signed up. Violating them is violating our word.
KiltedTim, Hey no tin foil hats here the cats outa the bag! Its a perfectly good question on how to remove or disable this stuff do you want someone else using up your data plan?? And also it seems this is just the place we should be discussing removal of dropout jeep its an apple forum remember. if my phone is leaking data i want to know about it and apple needs to support those who want it gone.
Sorry but your dead wrong on this one this is an apple support issue we should not need to start a blog about it. Sure if this was an android issue this would be the wrong place but again this is IPHONE related.
If you actually bothered to read the drivel on the Internet about this alleged exploit by the NSA, you'd see that it currently requires physical access to the phone to install it. Have you been visited by the NSA recently?
I actually sent them an old original iPhone, to install this stuff. They told me it was not compatible, & sent me back a brand new iPhone 5S, 64GB, Gold model. 😎
Hey KiltedTim,
I beg to differ. If you read the post, it clearly states install "remotely".

This is a user-to-user technical support forum. As noted, Apple doesn't make announcement's here. So, no, this is not an appropriate place to ask Apple to respond. If you wish to speak to Apple Technical support, call them.
Actually yes I have read the "drivel" as you say perhaps you overlooked the part where the NSA states they are going for remote installation with the new dropout jeep software. Keep in mind the docs that were leaked could be old and as we all know they have a pretty much unlimited budget. But that is water over the dam when apple is restricting access to postings here about it. Again its an apple issue if the NSA has a near 100% success rate Apple NEEDS to figure this out ASAP if the NSA can do it there are many others who can do the same.
