Since updating the ios7, I can no longer access FaceTime. What can I do to correct this?

The tech at the Apple store told me to go home and set up a new user ID, this didn't help. Since updating the IOS7, I can't access face time...it continually says "no connection".

1. Make sure software is up to date



2. Make sure FaceTime is enabled; Settings>FaceTime



3. Make sure Date and Time is correctly set; Settings>General>Date and Time>Set Automatically>On



4. Make sure Push Notification is enabled



5. Make sure phone number or email address is correct



6. Hold the Sleep and Home button down (together) until you see the Apple Logo
