best import settings for apt x bluetooth transfer

Hi. I'm quite new to itunes, and entirely new to bluetooth transfer from laptop to hi-fi.

I have a bluetooth reciever that is equipped with the APT X protocol, and would like some advice on the best itunes import settings to make use of this facility (once I get the aptx transmitter sorted!). the aptx is supposed to be "lossless" and pretty close to CD quality.

from a quick google search, it looks like aptx has a max transfer rate of 352kbps.

do i need to be using apple lossless encoder?
