ipod only playing 4 songs

I have an Ipod shuffle that I downloaded 100 songs from Itunes and it will only play 4 of the songs? I have another Ipod shuffle that I use the same computer for and that works fine. I remember my old Ipod shuffle would show my device and I'd drag the songs to that and they would download. Please help!
