Dec 31, 2013 8:34 AM in response to Gmcreesby ChrisJ4203,The only way to get the phone unlocked is to contact the carrier the phone is locked to, which you say is Sprint. Sprint will not unlock phones until you have been a Sprint customer in good standing for a minimum of 40 days. Why would you purchase a locked phone from a country you do not live in and then expect to use it immediately. You are on your own for this unlock, or you can sell the device and purchase one in your own country. The warranty on that phone is only good in the US, it cannot be shipped, you will have to bring it in, and it may not work with the local carrier bands.

Dec 31, 2013 8:49 AM in response to ChrisJ4203by Gmcrees,ChrisJ4203 thanks for your reply. The phone has been bought from my 15 years old cousin through internet basically because of the price difference. In Greece the same phone costs double money. That's way. So, I suppose in my case a possible solution would be to direct email sprint and request unlock the device?

Dec 31, 2013 8:53 AM in response to Gmcreesby ChrisJ4203,The only way to get an authorized unlock is to contact Sprint. You said that you contacted them and they will not unlock. I understand the price thing, but purchasing a locked device over the Internet is a bad idea. If you purchased it knowing it was locked, shame on you. If you did not know it was locked, then return it and get your money back. I already provided you with Sprint's unlock policy here in the US. They do not bend from that. Good luck.

Dec 31, 2013 9:13 AM in response to Gmcreesby ChrisJ4203,★HelpfulIt should be on their website, but I'm not exactly sure. I've just been involved in enough discussions to know it. When you mentioned a code in the first post, I figured you had already contacted Sprint. They are the only ones that can authorize the unlcok.
