iPhone has no SIM card slot- I just want to move phones!

Hi all! I have a little setup with my friend. If she buys a new iPhone, she gives me her old one. I never use it till my current iPhone breaks.

With that being said, my current iPhone is about "dead" and unusable (without going to an apple store). This morning I decided I'd transfer everything over to this new phone. I took out my SIM card (I use AT&T in the states), and went to put it into the new phone. However, I saw a problem.... THERE ISN'T A SIM CARD SLOT! I've looked this up online, and everyone is saying that the Verizon iPhone IS compatible with AT&T... how is that possible if I can't put my sim card in?!

Long story short: I need to know if there's a way to put my AT&T SIM card into a Verizon iPhone with no visible SIM card slot.

My current iPhone is a 4, and the Verizon iPhone is either a 4 or a 4S.

The Verizon model of the iPhone 4 is a CDMA phone and works only with Verizon. If the model number on the back of your iPhone is A1349, then it is indeed a Verizon iPhone 4 and cannot be used with AT&T.

this is false information in total. verison models are not compatible with att. although some verizon models do use sim cards for certain cellular data networks only not calls.
