Activation issue- ICC ID is already taken?

I'm trying to activate my new iphone 5s with virgin mobile, but the website is saying that my icc id is already in use. As far as I know, I'm the first person to use this icc id. However, when I was first activating my phone, I thought I was going to start as a new customer rather than transfer my number from one carrier to another, which is what I ended up doing. I had to restart the activation process because of this distinction, and so it may be a possibility that it says my icc id is already in use because I had previously entered it before I restarted. Do I need to get a new icc id/ sim card? Or is there a way that I can still use the same one?
