Many people have Windows opened in Parallels (which lets you have windows in a emulator on your mac instead of Boot Camp: where you have to restart your computer into Windows) and people at the same time have the app Virtue Desktop which just lets you switch screens under the same desktop user. Well there's a so-called hack where you can allow the motion sensor to connect to that some how and by smacking it the screen switches. I personally think its kinda cool but i don't want to hit my laptop all the time, doesn't sound safe in the long run.

it reminds me of that really stupid but funny scene in "zoolander" when owen wilson and ben stiller were smacking the crap out of that imac to get the files out of it. violence and technology only work together when the technology is designed to administer violence. yeah, i'd pay over a grand to smack a machine around for a Fonzie-style apple hack. who knows, if you frisbee it, it might even fly.

It doesn't require SMACKing the macbook so to speak - just tapping the side will be enough force....

It just uses the sudden motion sensor inside the mac to see whensomeone has tapped the side, and then performs an action - in this case changing OS via parallels.

Anyone who has used Seismac will know how sensitive the macbook's sudden motion sensor is, and if you look for videos on YouTube you can see that you really dont need to hit the laptop, and this really isn't going to cause any damage to it....
