Dec 31, 2013 12:42 PM in response to wkbrder2000by varjak paw,If you have a fifth-generation iPod touch with iOS 7 and set up Find My iPod, then you will have to turn that off before you can erase the iPod. See:

If it requires an Internet connection - I'm not sure - then you will have to find a valid Wi-Fi connection you can use.
