Q: Airport Express hooked up via ethernet
I have my modem and extreme in my den on the main floor and an Apple Express in the basement. I have cat5e run throughout my house and was wondering if i hooked extreme to the express in the basement would the express still improve my wireless signal or would it just work as a hard wire?

You can run simultaneous dual bands as long as the Express is the newest 2nd generation.
The Extreme is no problem as it is simultaneous dual bands.
