I live in the US. How can I purchase music not available in the US iTunes from Austrian iTunes?

I don't know if I have to retype my question again or not. The lack of instructions is abysmal. I live in the US. I tried to purchase music on iTunes and was redirected to iTunes Austria as the album I wanted was available there but not in the US. I entered my ID and password, the latter of which they made me change, which I did. Then I was informed that my my information was only good in the US. Do I have to open an iTunes account in Austria to get the music?

If so, why is it so? Is it a matter of copyright?

Well, why was I directed there and not told that information? It's all well and good to know that the music is at iTunes Australia; however, wht good does the information do me if I can'r buy it from them?

Robert,

They are just telling you where the song is sold. They do not check your credit card before directing you.

Feel free to check other online stores to see if they have the song(s) you are looking for. You can buy MP3s from any online source and add them to your iTunes library.
