If I get a replacement phone from Asurion (Verizon's insurance company), Will my warranty from my current Iphone transfer? If So, do I need to do anything?

Hello, so i broke the screen on my 5s :-( . I dont have apple care but I do have insurance with my carrier's TPA. If I got a replacement phone from them, will my apple warrenty still apply to the replacement phone?

Great question! , your existing warranty will transfer with the new device.

Nope! When a device is replaced your serial number for your old device will become inactive and the remainder of that warranty automatically transfers to your new device.

Any insurance matters will depend on what Asurion's terms are.
Nothing to do with Apple.
